
Based in Park City, UT Ed Lewis is a second‑generation steward of his family’s business and philanthropic enterprises.
His main operating role is Chief Executive Officer of Kensington Investment Company (KIC), where he is responsible for growing the family’s real estate investment platform with a long‑term, values‑driven perspective.
Ed joined KIC in 2004, when the firm managed approximately $250 million in AUM. Over the course of his tenure, he has helped guide the family office into a diversified real estate and non-real estate investment company overseeing more than $1 billion in assets. His leadership emphasizes disciplined growth, thoughtful risk management, sustainability, and enduring value creation.
Ed also serves as Chairman of the board of Grand Circle Corporation (GCC), a family‑owned global travel enterprise encompassing Overseas Adventure Travel, Grand Circle Travel, Grand Circle Cruise Line, and the Grand Circle Foundation. GCC serves approximately 100,000 passengers annually in 110 different countries generating over $800M of annual revenue. In this role, Ed helps guide strategic direction, governance, and long-term continuity of the business.
Lastly, Ed is honored to support his family’s legacy as board chair of the Alnoba Lewis Family Foundation, an internationally recognized nonprofit focused on leadership development and community‑based philanthropy. The foundation reflects the Lewis family’s commitment to giving back and strengthening communities by focusing on education, environment, and social equity.
Across all of his responsibilities, Ed views his role as one of stewardship- honoring the legacy built before him while responsibly positioning the Lewis family’s business and philanthropic efforts for future generations.
